The Dallas Polo Club Facilities ...

The Dallas Polo Club is located on eighty-five acres south of the DFW Metroplex. The club has three grass fields on which feature matches are played and one practice field for club chukkers. Members enjoy each other's company and mingle with spectators under the field-side tent.

The club also has an outdoor arena with lights, and the mild climate in Texas allows us to play year round. The arena is where many new DPC members first learn the basics of polo in our "Polo School".

The club barn where members and pros board their ponies is on the premises. There is a full time staff of grooms who live on the property as well as the barn manager who oversees barn operations. In addition, there are private barns on land adjacent to the Dallas Polo Club.

The Dallas Polo Club plays very competitive polo on a year round basis. The outdoor season begins in April and ends in mid November. DPC has three levels of play which run throughout the outdoor season; First time riders, club polo, and the Pro-Am League. New teams are formed each month and each league generally has at least four teams participating. Club chukkers are also available three days per week.

In addition to our regularly scheduled league play, the Dallas Polo Club is the host of numerous benefits and charity matches throughout the outdoor season.  A few of the charities that the Dallas Polo Club donates to are:  Dallas Polo Club Soriee, United Way Program, Resource Center of Dallas, Wednesday's Child, New Beginnings Center, Salvation Army and Polo for Tots.

The winter season features arena play. We are fortunate in that our club's founder, Bil Walton, just happens to be one of the best arena players in the world. Needless to say, our arena season is as competitive as the outdoor. Arena play begins in mid November and last until April, with an occasional break in the action for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

If you are interested in entering a team or a player for one or more polo games, please contact the polo office at (214) 979-0300 for more information.
